Radiator is the sixth episode of the Deca-Dence anime series.
Plot[]
The cyborg Kaburagi is sent to a bug correctional facility instead of being scrapped for insubordination as it appears that someone intervened in his behalf. He and the other bugs find themselves tasked with chopping up rock-hard Gadoll feces for reprocessing in to energy for Deca-dence. The job is unpleasant and dangerous, and the bug Sarkozy explains that no-one has ever left and escape is impossible. However, it is possible to illegally log into the Deca-dence system and he introduces Kaburagi to Donatello, leader of a tough band of bugs who has access. Donatello criticizes Kaburagi for not sticking to his principles in the past and becoming an armor repairer. He challenges Kaburagi to a Death Dive match above the rotating Gadoll feces crushers for a chance to contact Natsume through the Deca-dence link. As Kaburagi is about to win to match, Donatello takes both of them into the cesspit far below. However, Kaburagi uses his rocket backpack to fly them both back to the top. With Kaburagi having proved his resolve, Donatello authorizes the bug Jill to take Kaburagi to the Deca-dence link although he cannot use his former identity to connect. Meanwhile, at the Gadoll Factory Cell Production Room, newly produces Gadoll are being prepared to be released into the field.
Summary[]
Hugin wonders how he didn't see Kaburagi turning into a bug before and Kaburagi jokes that he needs to drop his sunglasses. He is about to scrap him, but Munin tells him something and Hugin comments someone must have intervened as he is told to send him to the bug correctional facility.
He is send there with other cyborgs, who initially think they are lucky for getting free oxyone, but its a low-quality one that makes them sick. Arriving there, they are thrown into a pit and explained that Gadoll feces will be falling from above and they need to be careful to not be crushed and then they need to break the feces to pieces and throw them into the hole. The cyborgs refuse to do that, however one gets crushed by feces and others are told that if they do not do their duties, they will be immediately scrapped. Kaburagi starts working serious to correct his bugs and gets released. He meets Sarkozy, who explains him that you can't leave this place and you will be here until you break and you can't escape as they are at the bottom of a lake. Its been a month and Kaburagi still works hard. Sarkozy wonders why and Kaburagi reveals it about a tanker, although she may be dead already. Sarkozy explains that there were do Gadoll attacks until they adjust the storyline, making Kaburagi wonder how he know that and Sarkozy explains there are people down there that can still log into the game.
Per Kaburagi's request, Sarkozy takes him to the leader of the bugs that can enter Deca-dence. Kaburagi is surprised to see Donatello, who tells him that he haven't forgiven him and hates him for accepting to work for the system and becoming an armor repairer. Donatello tells him that there are rules and he needs to follow them, so he challenges him to a Death Dive. Standing above the rotating feces crushers tank and using only a shovel, they must push the other down. As they fight, Kaburagi manages to defeat Donatello, but Donatello not accepting it causes both to fall. Kaburagi then uses his jets and pulls them both out of the pit. Donatello then admits defeat and take Kaburagi to the place where he can log into the game. Jill wanrs him that he can't use his old account and he will be a stranger to this tanker girl, but Kaburagi accepts it and logs in.
